Prints perfectly on my embroidery patches. Works better than sulky water solubles because the ink doesn’t bleed, the paper doesn’t stick the scissors and your needle.
I am a machine embroiderer and have used many of the Richword products before (thread, cut away and tear away stabilizers) and always get fantastic stitch outs. Using this printable sticky water-soluble embroidery stabilizer on towels yielded EXCELLENT results. I usually use a traditional plastic topper that is not sticky and have to pin the stabilizer to the top of the towel or use a large amount to catch under my hoop. With this stabilizer, you can cut to size and simply smooth it over the area to be stitched.The adhesive held firmly on the towel while stitching without any shifting and came off easily around my design. This stabilizer provides a smooth surface which allows the needle to glide easily for cleaner lines which is ideal for small, detailed designs. The stabilizer dissolves easily in water when finished, helping you rinse away cleanly without leaving any residue (I hand rinsed first and then used my washing machine and dryer to soften my towel).Easy to use and your work will look beautiful!
I love these printable sheets!They have a great thickness to them to keep everything sturdy while sewing without creating a gap in the embroidery, the adhesive works well on all types of fabric, including fleece, and it dissolves in less than a minute. It’s also super easy to print on. I really wish I took more photos of my first projects that I used these with, but I did a quick little project that at least shows the capabilities of these sheets.Overall, they’re super easy to work with and very easy to clean. I definitely recommend!

I have a lot of Richword stabilizers and I have been happy with all of it. This stabilizer is no exception.✅ PROS- If you are big on the brand names, you can see my video and see that it looks and feels very much like the name brand stabilizers you can buy in the stores.- Sticky on one side is nice so when you hoop it doesn't slip around a lot OR if you want to float it on top, it stays in place.- Washes away easily with just water or you can wash your garment. It is sticky at first so don't freak out. Just keep rinsing and it will all go away.- I used it on a 4x4 frame and only used half so I should be able to get 2 uses out of each sheet.❌ ConsNone.
These are exactly as described and really easy to use. I’ve used mine for sashiko and just download or create my own mending pattern and print. The lines on my most recent one came out too light, but worst case I just retrace them with a pattern pen in any areas they’re too light to see. I have plenty of mending to do and will keep using these sheets for that, but I also have some hand embroidery clothing upcycles in my make calendar for the year, and I’m also planning to use it for those designs, as well. I have a low on toner (obviously) laser printer, and, when your toner isn’t woefully low, it prints great and washes away with ease. Still washes away with ease when it’s low, it’s just to see, of course. I don’t have any experience trying this product with inkjet, nor do I know if it’s meant to be used with it, so try it at your own risk or have a long enough attention span to read more than me, lol. My singular complaint is that it could be a skosh stickier. It’s only really a tiny issue if you’re working on a piece out of a loom or that’s hard to get super taught on a loom OR that you’re having to sorta freestyle out of a loom entirely. Basically if an item has to he moved and rolled or folded a lot where the transfer is, it *might* move. It hasn’t for me, but I’m abundantly careful and when I noticed edges peeling with more ease than I was comfortable with, I started re-pressing it down with the butt of my palm for 30s at a time or so. But overall, I’m very pleased and will likely rebuy when I eventually run out…which will be eons. The amount you receive for the price is fantastic. I’ve been looking at other products of the same type at much higher prices, but these are great as far as I know, and the price (would be) right up my alley.
This water soluble embroidery paper sticks well to different fabrics and was very easy to work with. I used it on both canvas and a cotton sweatshirt by drawing my design directly on the sheet in pencil, sticking it to the fabric in a hoop, and stitching right over it. It stayed in place while embroidering and did not shift or peel.Once finished, it dissolved completely under running water with just a little rubbing from my fingers, leaving no residue behind. The subtle grid texture is a nice bonus if you like keeping your stitches neat and evenly spaced. Having a 10 pack on hand is convenient since it allows for everything from small designs to full sheet projects. Overall, it feels reliable and practical for both hand and machine embroidery.

This stabilizer worked great and really helped me get my projects finished. It kept the material perfectly in place with no shifting or sliding while I worked. I love that it's printable and sticky, making pattern transfers so much easier. It dissolves cleanly and was exactly what I needed. Highly recommend!
The stabilizer was easy to use. My older printer printed on it just fine to get my design. It’s stuck nicely to my hat that I was embroidering. It was a good weight for embroidering overall, I think the quality is pretty good. It wasn’t hard to remove.

I'm starting to get more into embroidery and have been fascinated by these water soluble sheets that I have seen various artists use on Instagram. When I saw these sheets I jumped at the opportunity to order one and try out. The $10 price tag for 10 sheets seems very decent, $1 per sheet in other words. I found these to be easy to use, the sheets don't break easily when sewing, and they are easily dissolvable in water, leaving behind a gorgeous pattern. I absolutely love it! I'm absolutely blown away!! I'm so excited by the possibilities and will definitely be purchasing more in the future!!!
Super useful for embroidery! I love that I can print images directly and embroider over them- it is much more precise and simple than tracing it from my screen and then tracing again onto my fabric. You can also draw directly onto the stabilizer for freehand designs. The stabilizer is self stick and grips well throughout the long embroidery process then easily washes away. I wish I had found this sooner.
Works good. Print your design right on the printer. Easy to use without puckering material.
While these printed well, I found they didn’t stick to the fabric very well. They worked but didn’t stick well.
