I picked up this BAi Soft Touch Stitch Cover Up Embroidery Backing for embroidery projects where the backside stitching can feel rough against the skin, and it works well for making finished pieces more comfortable to wear.The material feels soft and lightweight without adding noticeable bulk to the garment. Once applied it creates a smoother barrier over the embroidery backing and helps prevent irritation from rough stitches or thread ends.The iron-on application was simple to use, and it adhered evenly with heat without stiffening the fabric too much. I also like that it still allows the fabric to remain flexible and breathable afterward.The 7” x 7” sheet size is practical for a variety of embroidery designs, especially on shirts, baby clothing, sweatshirts, or items where the inside stitching would normally rub against the skin.Another nice feature is that it’s fairly discreet under fabric and doesn’t make the embroidery area feel overly thick or heavy.The 50-piece pack also gives a good amount for multiple projects.I think that this is a useful embroidery finishing product that helps give garments a cleaner, softer, and more professional feel on the inside.

Surprisingly soft and silky on the side that faces out, but it is slightly rougher on the fusing side (which is understandable). This backing is a must for baby and toddler clothing to keep the embroidery from scratching sensitive skin. It is also perfect if you are using metallic threads, as they tend to be very scratchy. The 7x7" dimensions are a perfect size for most of the embroidery I do; it is nice that I don't have to spend time precutting these squares. I tested this on a piece of scrap embroidery, and it fused easily with just a plain iron. The real test will be to see if it actually holds up in the wash. I will update this review once I get around to testing that. Overall, I am happy with these backings.

Really soft and great to apply onto the back of the embroidery. Easy to use, it is heat fusible and iron on. The pack comes with 50pcs. You can cut to size. The only issue is that it does get messy when trying to remove the sheet from the pack.

These are really nice. I love how soft they are. This is soft enough not irritate my sensitive skin. The size of these are great for using on almost any project. This really does help secure my embroidery for future durability. This would make a great gift to give someone. The price value for the product quality is really good.

These embroidery backing squares came in very handy when making a patchwork quilt that I needed to use embroidery backing on the fabric. It was very easy to iron on the back of fabric and it adhered very well. The stitch cover up is extremely soft to the touch and was very easy to work with. It gave the fabric stability and at the same time the fabric was still soft the touch. What a great value as this is a great addition to my sewing and craft room.

I really like these adhesive, iron on soft cover ups of embroidery stitching. I don’t like any clothing that even has a tag on it, and I never make any machine embroidery designs without a cover like this added, particularly for a child or newborn. This BAi cover up is 7x7” and can be applied with a warm iron and its adhesive is activated easily without much heat. The material is polyester and has a density very akin to tricot fabric. You can feel a bit of a bumpiness on one side, and those bumps have a bit of sheen or shininess. It comes with two heat protection pads to protect your iron. Nice product which will add a lot of comfort to any item with embroidery stitching. No more itchiness!

If you are machine-embroidering clothing items, your last step should always be to fuse a layer of stitch cover over the inside/skin side of your stitchout. I love this Richwood Selected product as it performs exactly as promised. The pre-cut 7"x7" squares are so much more convenient than trying to cut the lightweight, flimsy fabric from a roll, as I've found that all stitch cover materials are tricky to handle and difficult to cut just by their nature. I use this on onesies as well as every other piece of clothing that I stitch. Not only does that ensure that there will be nothing to irritate skin, but by fusing the back of the stitched design, I am locking the inside stitching surface with a layer of heat-activated "glue" that is a bit of insurance against my stitches coming loose. I always use a teflon sheet when I fuse to lessen the risk of damaging my fabric. 5 stars for this Soft Stitch Cover for convenience and performance!

These soft stitch covers sheets are great for pressing to the wrong side of embroidery designs to keep the scratchy threads from irritating the skin. I've paid much more for big name brands of similar products, and I find that this set works just as well as they do. The sheets are around 7 inches by 7 inches, though they're not quite perfectly square. They're certainly easier to use than the large rolls of stitch cover because they're small enough to lay flat and cut to the appropriate size. For the sample in my pictures, I used a rotary cutter to get the size I needed, then pressed it for 5 seconds on the back of a fresh embroidery project. The edges still needed a longer press, so I gave them another 10 seconds, and the glue was set. I'll certainly order more of these stitch cover sheets when I run out of this set.

This is a great product as it is very simple to use. I love the 7 by 7 sheets as they store very neatly in the box and they are the perfect size. These soft stitch fusible interfacing sheets are very sturdy once you adhere them to the fabric and do not lift off. I use these iron on sheets to back my machine embroidery designs so the embroidery stitching is more stable and the inside of the shirt is soft next to my skin. What a great value as these 7 by 7 blocks are so soft and wash very nicely too.

These are exactly as described. I like they come precut versus getting it on a bolt of fabric. It will be very nice for smaller projects. They came nicely packaged, stacked in a box.

I make a lot of infant onesies and always use a soft cover stitch on the inside so that the garment is more comfortable for the baby. This set of 7" squares in a really convenient size for infant or children's clothing. I just trim it down to the size I need, making sure that the corners are rounded. If the corners are left square, there's likelihood that it will curl and peel off at the edge. The product adhered well to the onesie. I think it could be used in place of other fusible stabilizers as it is thick enough. I'm happy to add this to my collection of machine embroidery stabilzers. Long term use will give me more information and I'll update my feedback if necessary.

My good friend at work is going to have a baby soon so I thought I'd machine embroider a few items for a gift basket. If you are embroidering - especially - items for kids you will want to use this. Each square is the perfect size for a kiddo's clothing. If you haven't used this before I would suggest a few things - round off the edges because rounded edges of this covering will hold up better in the long run, I would using a pressing cloth when adhering this to the backside of the garment and finally you can feel which side has the adhesive so just be sure to place that rough side smack onto the embroidery so the soft side is next to the skin.This is quality stuff and I think it's a must for anything that would be scratchy agains the skin - even items you bought from the store.

It’s an awesome product

I think these are a great answer for stitching enthusiasts! I put them over the back of my finished embroidery. It stabilizes and makes it neater. Easy to apply, thick enough to do the job but not overly thick

I’m really happy with this Richword Selected Soft Stitch Cover. I’ve been doing machine embroidery for 10 years and have used many different brands of stitch covers. This brand works as good as any of the big name brands. After embroidering a shirt, the stitching on the inside can aggravate or scratch anyone’s skin, making it uncomfortable to wear the embroidered clothing. I use an iron to press on a piece of this heat fusible cover to cover the scratchy stitching, which makes it soft on the skin. This cover is lightweight and it doesn’t add any bulk to the clothing. It comes in 7” squares which is a good size for a lot of embroidery, but it can be cut for smaller designs. The box of 50 pieces will last a long time.
