This embroidery machine is wonderful for first timers. I have never done machine embroidery so when I got the machine I was intimidated, even after spending years doing research. My first project was perfect and then I ran into the problem of bird nesting. After my first birds nest everything went downhill and I kept getting spindle not rotating error.
I was to the point where I just wanted to return the machine but I reached out to Kevin Xu in the Poolin fb group. When I woke up the next morning I saw that had Kevin reached out the same night that I sent a request. He was so patient with me and my issues. Within about an hour of us messaging my machine was up and running perfectly and that was 3 days ago and I haven't had any problems.

I mainly embroider caps and patches, and the stitch quality has been super clean. Less thread breaks than my old machine too.
Fast machine, clean embroidery, and great support when needed. Glad I decided to upgrade.
First and foremost, it's intimidating to buy a new machine of this size and know too little about it, but fret not, you are not alone. In fact, this machine and many others from poolin has an amazing staff to back it up and help you learn it. The community on facebook offers a lot of help as well. The money you spend will be well spent. After figuring out my bobbin case issue with why my thread wasn't working due to my inexperience, I threaded some nice personal projects. Pictured with my review, are examples of my work. This machine is capable of so much. Like with most machines, you HAVE to watch vids and read your manuals. I advise getting a magnetic hoop set too for this machine, but do your research to figure out which ones before you buy those hoops.
