Also any time I have had any tension problems the Facebook group is awesome and the poolin team helps right away. Talked me through doing some test runs and even sent videos on how to give regular maintenance. 10 out of 10 customer support as well.
I purchased the Poolin EC06 with so many questions because I was completely new to embroidery, but I am so glad I took the leap. From day one, this machine has been an absolute game-changer. The quality, the stitch precision, and how beginner-friendly it is everything exceeded my expectations.

Now I am obsessed I have been so creative with my hoodies, trying out different embroidery designs and watching each one come out beautifully. It is honestly such a satisfying feeling to see your ideas come to life.

This machine is good for beginners! If you are looking to embroider many orders then I would suggest a multi needle machine. This machine does have a learning curve, but the lifetime support team through Facebook messenger is the best. They are always there to help walk you through how to do something. I am already looking to upgrade to a multi needle machine and I have only had this machine for about 1 year. It is great for the money and you can embroider a very large hoop area - which is why I bought it. I also bought this machine because of the support team and the price. I feel like I know how to use it very well now, but there definitely was a learning curve for embroidery in general. I attached a few photos of my work!
Bought after a lot searching for an affordable machine. Some were outrageously priced for the most basic frames. After I purchased, I went ahead and did exactly what the manual and educational pamphlets suggested. I went and followed all of the platforms by the Poolin creators. They havebeen help since day one. My machine did not need any help. I started my first project and it was not the best. It was user error. I havebeen using tension as factory set and had had much success! Kevin Xu, one of the Facebook techs with Poolin has been great/attentive and quick with responses. Highly recommended!
I want to give it five stars but the automatic threader feature on this machine is very bad. lt is honestly easier to hand thread the needle than they use the automatic function. Other than that lt is a great machine. Maybe I have not figured it out yet but doesn't seem like you could store the color memory for the files in the machine. Not a big deal but would be nice to not have to change the colors every time I go to a new design and go back to the old one
The Poolin EOC06 is a fantastic embroidery machine, particularly for the price. I bought this machine in September 2024 because of the number of hoops & accessories it came with. I have been into machine embroidery for about 10 years (as a hobby) and was looking to upgrade. The extra large hoop sold me. The noise level is comparable to other machines. I haveembroidered designs with over 50,000 stitches with no problems. I find that slowing down the speed prevents thread breakage. Also, use the thread stand.
The active Poolin Embroidery Facebook group is filled with ideas and suggestions. One of the best things about purchasing this machine is customer support. The expert technicians are extremely helpful. You can reach out to them & they will help solve any issues you have. I had one (my error) & was extremely impressed by the technicians level of expertise and patience. I have two other machines (with smaller hoops) from different companies but the customer service does not match Poolins. Great machine and company.
I haveincluded a picture of one of the crazy quilt machine applique blocks I am working on. If you are totally new to machine embroidery know that it is both an art and a science. Take your time and you will produce beautiful creations.
The price point and large hoop size drew me in. Comparable with the big named brands were $800 to $1000 more. I watched videos and read the reviews and thought I would give it a chance. The machine is arrived super fast and literally took 10 minutes max from open to embroidering. I looked up and followed the Facebook videos for tutorials. I was immediately contacted by Kevin Xu with offers of help and support. As I went from project to project I was struggling with garbled stitching and nesting. Especially with satin stitches or when the stitching went over an area more than once. I contacted Kevin back and he helped me with videos and and chats back and forth. He was avaliable almost instant any time I messaged. I actually wondered if he ever slept. As he examined my machine over videos, he noticed that there was a clip on rhe housing that was broke throwing my tension off. He organized a machine exchange immediately no questions asked. The new machine was sent out with the request that once I received it to then send my current machine. To me that showed rgey were very trustworthy by extending trust to me. Due to the Christmas holiday it took 10 days to get my new machine. I was provided tracking numbers to watch the status. The machine was actually shipped within a 48 hour window from the invitation of the exchange. Kevin kept in touch checking in while I waited and then verified that I received it. He also had ne send pictures and videos to make sure the new machine was functioning well. I then had an option to drop the old machine at fedex or have them pick it up at my house. This new machine is absolutely amazing and the quality of the embroidery is outstanding. It is very user friendly. The customer service was way beyond my expectations. I hope as they grow bigger they keep that up because it really sets them apart. If you in question about buying this machine just do it! lt is worth it!

When I was deciding whether or not to get this embroidery machine, it seemed like it was too good to be true. 140mm x 140mm, 200mm x200mm, and 280mm x 200mm embroidery hoops for this price made me feel like there was bound to be some sort of catch 22
I closed my eyes and clicked complete purchase with the EOC06 in my shopping cart and waited 4 days to find out if I had just wasted my money or not.
On initial use, I was a lil disappointed by the basic visual interface, and the auto-threading was not working right out of the box. So I was feeling pretty sorry for myself.
Before I issued a return or anything, I said screw it and contacted the support team (like every other review mentioned were amazing) expecting to never hear anything back.
I applied to join the Facebook group, and the next day I was approved. I was also met with friend requests from several of Poolins support team. I sent a message to a member of the support team and then continued about my day. After two days I remembered to check for a response, and I was shocked to find out that I was actually the one who was taking their sweet time.
I had received a response to my initial message less than an hour after I had sent it I just never saw my notifications (I hardly use Facebook nor Messenger).
I told them my situation and I was back to embroidering like advertised within the hour.
That was just my first experience with Poolins support team. Each time, I have been provided guidance on how to troubleshoot and resolve the issue I was having.
Be advised, this machine is not perfect. But neither was my Brother embroidery machine. and I never spoke to Brothers support team
If you are willing to put up with the first few growing pains and novice level tinkering (loosening and tightening a few screws lol) then this machine will exceed every expectation you could have if you are willing to put in even the most minimal effort.
Also, back to the basic visual interface I mentioned. I did not realize that there are updates that are released with relative frequency that actually overhaul the entire display and interface. do yourself a favor and DOWNLOAD the most recent UPDATE from the Institch.com webpage (go to Releases and find your model EOC06) and put it on a flash drive and update your machine. Prior to updating, I was bummed out the machine did not appear to have wireless connection capabilities, but the update actually opens the function to you on your machine once it is done.
It makes the Cloud file transfer a possibility and is just a wonderful feature.
The max speed on this thing is 860 stitches per minute, which compared to my Brother machines measly 460spm, is staggeringly fast. The only MILD drawback is that the increased speed slightly louder operation noise. So if you don not mind that, then it is an entire positive addition.

My advice for anyone new: be patient, it can be challenging but the results are worth it.
If you ever run into problems just reach out to Poolin Tech Support via Facebook. They are amazing and extremely knowledgeable. Show them pictures and/or videos of your issues and they can immediately diagnose and solve your issues.
I love learning how to make beautiful embroidery with my PooLin EOC06! I had never used an embroidery machine before and I had to learn a few things about fabrics and using stabilizer, but the machine really does all the work. Following easy directions I was able to create something right out of the box! I also had the opportunity to use the customer support recently and found out how wonderful they are when it comes to helping their customers. Communication by messaging was very easy and quick! Five stars for customer service! All in all I'm very happy with my Poolin. The amount of projects you can create is endless and having the large size hoop is awesome for embroidery on large areas. lt is a lot of fun!

As someone new to embroidery, this was my first machine, and the setup process was very easy. The technicians made learning the machine simple and were incredibly helpful in guiding me through everything.
They havebeen extremely attentive to any questions or concerns especially in the Facebook group and are quick to reach out and offer support when needed. I also appreciate how straightforward the machine is to service, with clear guidance from the customer service team.
Overall, I havehad such a positive experience that I went on to purchase the next model as well.
I wanted to wait a few months before writing a review to make sure it was either me or machine issues. Lol. But now that I have figured out how to do things and been learning things from the fb page, YouTube videos and if I need any help the customer service team is awesome. I wanted to boot kick the machine in the beginning as a first time user. But now trial and error I have figured it out and love doing projects. I keep finding new ideas and advancing in my projects. I am having a blast with it.
